VIVIAN LAWRENCE is a non-binary cabaret artist. After attending Indiana University for the B.F.A. program in Musical Theatre, Vivian ventured to NYC for a whirlwind career in Off-Broadway cabaret before joining the United States Army. As an Army musician, event producer, and live show director, Vivian has traveled the world and has had the chance to perform with, and for, such wonderful people as Former First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Gene Simmons, and others. Most recently, Vivian has re-entered the civilian landscape, traded combat boots for high heels, and is sweeping back onto the cabaret scene once again with her one-soldier show, “Don’t Ask, I’ll Tell: Story of An Unexpected Soldier”.

RAY FELLMAN

RAY FELLMAN, originally from the NYC area, serves as a music director, vocal coach, and voice teacher, for Indiana University’s BFA in Musical Theatre Program. He has conducted over 60 musicals off broadway, regionally and internationally, and performed in over 100 cabaret shows in major clubs in NYC and around the world. Career highlights include Stephen Schwartz’s Captain Louie (Little Schubert Theater/National Tour), "Les Miserables", "Sweeney Todd", and "West Side Story" for Teatro Nacional Sucre in Quito, Ecuador directed by Chia Patiño. Ray’s cabaret work garnered him a Backstage Magazine Bistro Award for his work as music director of "The After Party" at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. In addition, he has performed at Feinstein’s, The Algonquin, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Town Hall, BB King’s, and the Duplex Cabaret Theatre in NYC. Vocal coaching and arranging credits include upcoming "The Parenting" on HBO Max, the film "Ben is Back" starring Julia Roberts, HBO’s "Sharp Objects" starring Amy Adams, and Twentieth Century Fox film "Joy" starring Jennifer Lawrence and Edgar Ramirez. 

RICHARD ROLAND

DIRECTOR • incredible actor • FABULOUS COOK 

RICHARD ROLAND is a fourth-generation performer and a third-generation Broadway veteran, having appeared on Broadway in "Thoroughly Modern Millie", "The Scarlet Pimpernel", and "Follies", and in the National Tours of "Titanic" and "Millie". Off-Broadway audiences saw him in "Zombie Prom", "Forever Plaid", "The Fantasticks", and "The Cocoanuts". He played Jason Sheffield on TV’s "All My Children" and has appeared in several television commercials.
An award winning director, Richard has directed plays and musicals across the US and in Europe. He is currently Associate Director for "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir", a new musical in developmental workshops in London, UK. He has directed "Spring Awakening" in Denmark and served as Associate Director for "Story of My Life" there as well. In the US, directing credits include "Clue", "School of Rock", "Elf", "The Secret Garden", "110 in the Shade", "Brigadoon", "Dogfight", "Avenue Q", "Hairspray", "Ragtime", "…Millie", "Chicago", "Steel Magnolias", and served as Associate Director for the NYC premiere of "Vanities: A New Musical" and was Associate Artistic Director at both Theatre Raleigh and Indiana University Summer Theatre.
He holds a BFA in Theatre from Denison University and an MFA in Directing from Penn State, Currently, he is the Director of the BFA in Musical Theatre program at Indiana University Bloomington. He also hosts the weekly American Songbook and Jazz Vocal radio program "Afterglow" on WFIU/Indiana Public Media, which is nationally syndicated through PRX.

Melany morris

MELANY MORRIS is a director and scenic designer based in Warsaw, IN where she is the Director of Theatre and Drama at Warsaw Community High School. Since starting at the school four years ago, after graduating from Ball State University with a degree in Theatre Education, she has elevated the program to new heights, including being chosen to take the students of the program to perform at the International Thespian Conference 2024 with the new musical, "My Heart Says Go". Other educational directing credits include "Into the Woods", "Matilda", "SpongeBob The Musical", "The Play That Goes Wrong", and "Mamma Mia". Melany is so honored to be a part of the "Don't Ask, I'll Tell" team. Her and Vivian have been friends (partners in crime) for the past three years, and there's no end in sight!
